The Lafayette Housing Authority hosted a Family Fun Day at the Macon Road Development for residents and their children on Saturday, June 12 from 12 noon to 2:00 p. m.
The residents were joined by members of the LHA Staff as well as members of the Board of Commissioners. Also on hand were representatives from the Lafayette Consolidated Government City Council , Patrick Lewis and Glenn Lazard, City Marshall Reggie Thomas, and members from the City of Lafayette Fire Department. Ms. Renee Watson with Aetna was in attendance and raffled a television set which was won by Ms. Christy Guidry. The Fun Day consisted of a bounce house, water slide, a tour of a Fire Safety Home and a Fire Engine.
