LHA Seeking Donations of School Supplies

In anticipation of the approaching school year, the Lafayette Housing Authority is seeking donations of supplies for our children residing in public housing. Below are suggestions of the supplies the agency is seeking:

  1. Tablets
  2. Pencils – pens – color pencils – crayons – markers
  3. Folders
  4. Construction Paper
  5. Scissors
  6. Calculator
  7. Backpacks
  8. Binders
  9. Loose Leaf Paper

The goal is to distribute twenty-five (25) filled backpacks. Anyone wishing to donate supplies, should deliver the items by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20 to 115 Kattie Drive.

In conjunction with the distribution of school supplies, the agency will host “Storytime” (reading selection, art, educational film) for our public housing children on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
