LHC-NAHRO Recognizes LHA for New Website Launch and Homelessness Partnership
Baton Rouge, LA – During the Louisiana Housing Council of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials’ (LHC-NAHRO) Legislative Conference, the Lafayette Housing Authority (LHA) received recognitions for its new, responsive website design and its new “street to housing” partnership with the Acadiana Regional Coalition on Homelessness and Housing (ARCH).
LHC-NAHRO is a state organization, facilitating the professional development of its membership and advocating for quality housing programs throughout the State of Louisiana.
New Responsive Website
The new website allows users to easily navigate the website no matter what device is used in viewing the website (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone). It’s also designed to provide business transparency for our families, commissioners, business partners, community stakeholders, and the public. Additionally, families have the luxury of making rental payments online. The website was designed by Brooks Jeffrey Marketing, Inc. (www.BrooksJeffrey.com)
Street to Housing Partnership
LHA and the Continuum of Care (CoC), ARCH, partnered to create a street to housing pathway for individuals experiencing homelessness. Up to fifty (50) housing choice vouchers will be issued to eligible homeless families in Lafayette Parish.
