LHA ELECTS KIM BOUDREAUX AS VICE CHAIR FOR HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD
The Lafayette Housing Authority Board of Commissioners elected Mrs. Kimberly Boudreaux to serve as its Vice Chair.
In her current role as Executive Director of Catholic Services of Acadiana since 2005, Kimberly Boudreaux leads a collection of social service programs that annually shelters 700 homeless individuals, prepares and serves 150,000 meals, and transitions 350 people from homelessness into stable housing. In the last three years, she has led her organization in moving over 1,100 individuals from homelessness into permanent housing.
A native of Lafayette, she is married to Matt Boudreaux and has three daughters, Claire, Elizabeth and Kate.
The LHA is governed by a five-member board of commissioners, appointed by the Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Mayor-President. Other members include Mr. Shelton Cobb, chair, and Ms. Jeanette Daigle, Mr. Mark Becnel and Mrs. Emilie Duhon.
